Who we are and what these terms cover

AI Tattoo Lab is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY]. These terms apply to aitattoolab.com, the tattoo design generator, the stencil exports and any account you create. If you do not agree with them, do not create an account.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of this agreement.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use AI Tattoo Lab. This is a tattoo design service and tattooing is restricted to adults in most places. If you create an account you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you can enter into a binding contract. We will close accounts we believe belong to minors.

Your account

An account is needed to generate designs. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at hello@aitattoolab.com if you think somebody else has access to it. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

One person, one account. Studio subscriptions include 3 artist seats, and each seat is for one named artist. Sharing a single login across a shop, reselling access, or using automated tools to generate designs in bulk is not permitted.

Plans, billing and refunds

The free plan costs nothing and includes 3 prompts a day and 12 designs a day. Pro is $9 a month and Studio is $29 a month, billed in advance, and each renews automatically until you cancel. Plan limits, such as 500 designs on Pro and 2000 designs on Studio, apply per billing period. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to add.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part used periods by default. If something went wrong, such as a double charge or a subscription you cancelled that renewed anyway, email hello@aitattoolab.com and we will sort it out. Statutory refund and withdrawal rights in your country still apply.

Who owns the designs you generate

You own the designs you generate. We do not claim ownership of your prompts or your output, and we do not take a cut if a design is tattooed. The free plan grants a personal use license: use your designs for your own tattoo. Pro adds private designs. Studio adds a commercial license that covers flash sheets and client work.

Copyright in AI generated images is unsettled, and in some countries purely machine generated output may not be protectable at all. We cannot promise you an enforceable copyright in what the generator returns, or that your output is unique. Similar prompts can produce similar results for different users.

The license you give us

To run the service we need a limited license from you. By submitting prompts and uploads you give [LEGAL ENTITY] a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce and process that content, and the designs made from it, so we can generate images, store your library, show previews, produce stencils and provide support.

This license exists only so the product can function. It ends for stored content when you delete that content or your account, apart from copies in routine backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Free plan designs and the public gallery

Designs generated on the free plan may appear in the public gallery on aitattoolab.com, with the design and the prompt shown and without your email address or name. This is part of what makes the free plan free.

If you do not want your designs published, use Pro or Studio, where designs are private to your account. If a free plan design of yours is already in the gallery and you want it removed, email hello@aitattoolab.com and we will take it down.

Acceptable use

Some things are not allowed, and accounts that do them will be suspended.

• Hate symbols, extremist insignia, and content that attacks people for who they are.
• Prompts designed to copy a specific copyrighted artwork, flash sheet or photograph.
• Trademarks, brand logos and protected characters intended for commercial use.
• Impersonating a real person, or generating a likeness of someone without their agreement.
• Sexual content involving minors, in any form, which we report where the law requires it.
• Scraping, reselling access, reverse engineering the service, or bypassing plan limits.
• Anything illegal where you live or where the service is provided.

Designs are a starting point, not a safety guarantee

A generated design is a reference image. It is not a tattoo plan, a medical opinion or a guarantee that the piece will work on your body. The generator cannot see your skin, your scars or how your body moves, and it cannot judge how a line weight will hold in ten years.

Take the design to a licensed tattoo artist who will adapt it to your body, and follow the aftercare they give you. Anything we publish about pain, healing, sizing or cost is general information, not advice about your situation.

Limits on our liability

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that generations will always succeed, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that a design will meet your expectations.

We are not liable for the outcome of any tattoo. The decision to get tattooed, the choice of artist and studio, the execution and the aftercare are between you and that artist. To the fullest extent the law allows, [LEGAL ENTITY] is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used for the activities listed under acceptable use, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

If we close your account for a breach, we do not refund the remaining period. If we withdraw the service entirely, we will give notice and refund any period you have paid for and not used.

Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.

We may update these terms as the product changes or the law does. The date at the top of this page shows the last update. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the new terms.
